Implementation of evolutionary prototyping in software development
The main goal of using evolutionary prototyping is to build a very robust prototype in a structured manner and constantly refine it. The evolutionary prototype, when built forms the heart of the new system and the improvements and further requirements will then be built.

Some of the reasons why evolutionary prototyping is used are as follows;

  • It will be easy for customers to see some developments which can help gain a positive impression from the target market.
  • When current systems are complicated and ineffective, evolution prototyping can pave way for better systems.
  • Developers can learn from customers
  • The end product is accurate.
  • The development and design is made more flexible.
  • Delivery time of the system is leveled up.
  • Increase user engagement, involvement with the system.
  • System is more likely to meet the user requirements.
  • Most needed functionality will be produced first which prevents users from waiting through entire software process to get a functional system.
